This Titan Series cover is designed for large-aperture 14-inch Dobsonian telescopes, providing full coverage for both the optical tube and the base. Built for long-term outdoor storage, it protects your equipment from rain, snow, UV exposure, and dust, and helps smooth out sudden temperature fluctuations that can lead to condensation.
The shape is optimized for Dobsonian geometry, ensuring a secure and stable fit for both classic manual Dobsonians and Go-To models with integrated electronics.
Heavy-Duty Outdoor Protection
Titan covers are built for reliable performance in demanding outdoor conditions. Each cover is made from two high-quality fabrics — an outer waterproof fabric and an inner thermal barrier fabric — working together to protect your telescope in all seasons.

The outer fabric is PVC-coated nylon with 100% waterproof performance (tested above 7000 mmH₂O, AATCC-127). It offers excellent durability, UV resistance, and long-term color stability.

The inner fabric features a multi-layer structure with a strong, long-lasting cotton base for insulation and a silvered surface that acts as a heat barrier — reducing temperature swings and helping to limit dew formation. Its waterproof face adds extra moisture protection.
All seams are sealed, and waxed, water-repellent threads prevent water penetration. Reinforced handles and an adjustable drawcord ensure a secure, wind-resistant fit even for larger setups.
For many setups, a Titan cover can serve as a practical and cost-effective alternative to building a permanent observatory, while still providing reliable protection for outdoor storage.
Condensation & Optional Add-Ons
In certain conditions, condensation may develop inside any outdoor cover. To help control humidity and protect sensitive optics, optional add-ons are available:

Removable desiccant pocket with reusable silica gel — helps maintain low humidity inside the cover and includes a color indicator for reactivation.

Ventilation fan — promotes airflow and reduces moisture buildup. Can be powered via 12 V or the included USB adapter, allowing use with portable power banks in the field.
⚠️ The fan must be selected at the time of purchase and cannot be added later due to integrated installation.
