This Titan Series cover is designed for telescopes mounted on equatorial (EQ/GEM) mounts with medium to large optical tubes.

Size M fits setups with a total length (including accessories) of up to 40 inches (≈ 102 cm) — ideal for refractors 4–5″ (100–130 mm), 8–14″ Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, compact 6–8″ Newtonians, GSO RC 10–12″, and other similar instruments.

📏 Before ordering, measure the full length of your telescope with all attached accessories (diagonal, camera, filter wheel, etc.). If the total length is 40″ (102 cm) or less, this size is the right choice.

Built for Long-Term Outdoor Protection

Titan Covers are engineered for long-term outdoor storage of telescopes and mounts, providing reliable protection against rain, snow, UV exposure, dust, and sudden temperature fluctuations.

Each Titan cover is made from two high-performance fabrics — an outer waterproof shell and an inner thermal barrier fabric. Together they form a complete protective system suitable for any climate.

  • The outer fabric is a PVC-coated nylon with 100% waterproof rating (tested above 7000 mmH₂O, AATCC-127). It is durable, UV-resistant, easy to clean, and maintains its shape after prolonged exposure.
  • The inner fabric features a multi-layer structure with a cotton base for insulation and a silvered surface that acts as a heat barrier, reducing dew and smoothing out temperature changes.

Thoughtful Design & Reliable Sealing

All Titan covers are built for real-world outdoor use. Seams are sealed with a waterproof compound, and waxed threads prevent water absorption, ensuring a completely weatherproof finish.

For ease of use, each cover includes:

  • 🖐 Two integrated handles for easy placement and removal.
  • 🪝 Elastic drawcord with toggle for a snug base fit.
  • 🔒 Corded hem with locking fasteners to secure against wind.

Condensation & Optional Add-Ons

In certain weather conditions, condensation may occur inside any outdoor cover. To help reduce humidity and protect your optics, Titan covers can be ordered with optional accessories:

  1. Removable desiccant pocket with reusable silica gel — maintains lower humidity inside the cover. The silica gel includes a color indicator showing when it’s time to remove and dry it.
  2. Ventilation fan — promotes airflow inside the cover, reducing moisture buildup. The fan can be powered by a 12 V source or via the included USB adapter, allowing operation from portable power banks in the field.

⚠️ The fan option must be selected when purchasing; installation requires factory sealing and cannot be added later.

These dimensions are slightly larger than the maximum recommended telescope length for this size, to allow for an easy and proper fit.

For example, the Size M cover is designed for telescopes with a total setup length (tube + accessories) up to 40 inches (≈102 cm) — but the cover itself measures approximately 48 inches (≈123 cm) in length.

This built-in allowance ensures:

  • ✅ Easy placement and removal of the cover
  • ✅ A proper fit without straining the fabric or seams
  • ✅ Better airflow and protection around attached accessories

All sizes are designed with this margin to accommodate real-world telescope configurations.

✅ How to Measure Your Telescope

To determine if this cover will fit your telescope, measure the total length of your optical tube including any equipment attached to the focuser — such as a diagonal, camera, filter wheel, or other accessories.

📌 For Newtonian telescopes, you typically only need to measure the tube length, as most accessories point downward in the parked position and don’t add to the total length of the setup.

Please keep in mind that the overall size of your telescope depends not just on the optical tube, but also the mount type, configuration, and accessories.
