Telescope Cover (Size L) on Equatorial (EQ/GEM) – Titan
This Titan Series cover is designed for telescopes mounted on equatorial (EQ/GEM) mounts with larger optical tubes.
Size L fits setups with a total length (including accessories) of up to 50 inches (≈ 127 cm) — perfect for 10″ f/5 Newtonians, 12″ f/4 Newtonians, RC 12″ (carbon tube), RC 14″ (steel tube), and ED/APO refractors up to 150 mm with longer optical tubes.
📏 To ensure proper fit, measure the full length of your telescope with all attached accessories (diagonal, camera, filter wheel, etc.). If your setup is 50″ (127 cm) or shorter, this size is ideal.
Built for Long-Term Outdoor Protection
Titan Covers are engineered for long-term outdoor storage of telescopes and mounts, providing reliable protection against rain, snow, UV exposure, dust, and sudden temperature fluctuations.
Each Titan cover is made from two high-quality fabrics — an outer waterproof fabric and an inner thermal barrier fabric. These materials complement each other to deliver full protection under a wide range of environmental conditions.
The outer fabric is a PVC-coated nylon that provides 100% waterproof performance (tested above 7000 mmH₂O, AATCC-127). It’s durable, UV-resistant, color-stable, and easy to clean — ensuring years of service even with regular outdoor exposure.
The inner fabric features a multi-layer structure with a cotton base for insulation and a silvered surface that acts as a heat barrier, helping to prevent dew and reduce the effects of sudden temperature changes. The waterproof face adds an additional layer of moisture defense.
Thoughtful Design & Reliable Sealing
All Titan covers feature sealed seams and waxed, water-repellent threads to prevent moisture penetration.
For ease of use, each cover includes:

Condensation & Optional Add-Ons
In certain weather conditions, condensation may occur inside any outdoor cover. To help minimize humidity and protect sensitive optics, Titan covers can be ordered with optional accessories:
Removable desiccant pocket with reusable silica gel — maintains lower humidity inside the cover. The silica gel includes a color indicator that shows when it’s time to remove and dry it.
Ventilation fan — promotes airflow inside the cover and helps prevent moisture buildup. The fan can be powered from a 12 V source or via the included USB adapter, allowing operation from a portable power bank in the field.
⚠️ The fan option must be selected at the time of purchase; installation requires factory sealing and cannot be added later.
